Tara Family Support Service

The Family Support Worker is Anne who is based at the Tara Neighbourhood Centre and offers Tara and district a mobile service, including home visits.

The Family Support Service offers free and confidential support and information on a range of issues and problems:

• Relationship and family issues
• Parenting concerns and tips
• assistance with housing applications
• Communication and stress management
• Self-esteem
• Any other concerns that impact on families in our community

• Support, assistance, advocacy, referral and information
• Crisis referral
• Home visits
• Help for families, individuals, young people and the community in general.

The Family Support Service aims to support families in any way possible, including the provision of information, resources, training, practical assistance, and one-to-one support to eliminate family stresses and to maximize the well-being of children, their families and the community.
