Volunteering with Us
Community Organisations always need Volunteers
Meals on Wheels
Volunteer strength is the key to this vital community service.
Meals on Wheels services pride themselves in being a voluntary service.
Age is no barrier. Younger people are happily involved along with all other age groups. Caring for the community does not depend upon age - the caring attitude of those willing to undertake service is the most important factor.
MEALS ON WHEELS SERVICE IS PROVIDED BY
Drivers (with cars) to deliver meals, assistants (to travel and help drivers), emergency helpers (to fill in when needed), Kitchen helpers (where appropriate).
Neighbourhood Volunteers
Volunteers are always welcome at the neighbourhood centre, whether assisting the public with enquiries, driving the community bus or doing some gardening.
Volunteering can be for one hour a week, one hour a month, or 15 hours a week, its your choice.
